2022 AUDI E-TRON

Filed Sep 2, 2026

The vehicle is experiencing an intermittent but active 'Electrical system: malfunction!' safety alert on the dashboard and myAudi app, caused by an internal high-voltage battery cell circuit fault (Diagnostic Trouble Code P0DB400 / U04A300) and a failure in the battery thermal runaway detection system. When the fault occurs, the vehicle suffers a complete loss of regenerative braking, severely affecting stopping predictability and vehicle handling. An authorized Audi dealership (Audi West…

2019 AUDI E-TRON

My 2019 Audi e-tron will not charge. The charging indicator turns red after a few seconds and charging stops. The issue happens with both my home charger and Electrify America public chargers. The vehicle does not make the normal charging connection/clicking sound. This appears to be a charging system or high-voltage electrical issue. I am concerned about a potential safety defect because the vehicle cannot reliably charge and may leave the vehicle unusable. We have had a lot of heavy rain…

2021 AUDI E-TRON

Filed Jul 22, 2026

I own a 2021 Audi e-tron with approximately 58000 miles. Beginning in March 2026, the vehicle developed intermittent Virtual Cockpit/instrument-cluster problems with blank display. I reported the condition to Audi dealer of Princeton NJ. The vehicle subsequently experienced two dead 12-volt battery incidents and became inoperable. The second 12 volt battery was new. Following the most recent incident, the Audi dealer diagnosed the Virtual Cockpit/instrument cluster as causing a drain on the…

2022 AUDI E-TRON SPORTBACK

Filed Jul 11, 2026

The integrated high-voltage powertrain / single-speed transmission unit is failing, causing severe mechanical chattering, rapid actuator cycling, and vibration under the vehicle. This failure follows a recent catastrophic, unexplained total loss of traction/HVAC coolant while at a previous Audi dealership. Audi is aware of systemic coolant migration issues into the electric drive motors on 2022 e-tron models under Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) #2073858, where coolant breaches internal seals…

2019 AUDI E-TRON

am writing to file a formal complaint regarding my recent experience with the service department at Audi of Cherry Hill concerning my Audi e-tron. My vehicle remained at your dealership for approximately four weeks, during which time no repairs or meaningful progress were made. Instead, I was informed that I would need to approve approximately $13,000 in diagnostic fees before the vehicle would even be inspected or touched. I find this completely unreasonable and unacceptable, particularly…

2021 AUDI E-TRON SPORTBACK

Filed Jun 26, 2026

While driving my 2021 Audi e-tron Sportback Prestige, the high-voltage battery warning light illuminated on the dashboard. At the same time, regenerative braking stopped functioning, resulting in reduced energy recovery and a noticeable decrease in driving range. Before taking the vehicle to an Audi dealership, I had the diagnostic trouble codes read by an independent repair shop. The technician advised me to take the vehicle to Audi because the diagnostic information reportedly indicated a…

2022 AUDI E-TRON SPORTBACK

Component/System: Service Brakes, Hydraulic / Brake Pedal Assembly / Steering Linkage Description of Defect: A progressive mechanical noise and physical sensation occurs during driving transitions involving the brake, accelerator, and steering column. After the brake pedal is fully released and the accelerator is pressed, or when the steering wheel is turned, a distinct loud thunk and a sliding/dragging sound emanate from the brake pedal assembly area. When the accelerator is released, a…

Running 4430 MMI/MIB3 software (that was release almost 2 years ago) and now have stereo EQ settings that reset on their own, personalized favorites that delete on their own, and other personalization settings that reset on their own. Happens every 6-24 hours if settings are adjusted. Audi knows about it, refuses to allow dealers to update to newer software that will fix these since there are updated available that solves.

2023 AUDI E-TRON

Filed Jun 5, 2026

When driving, my vehicle recieved multple warning messages at the same time. The first message was that my brake was malfunctioning, and when I went to brake, the brakes did not work. Thankfully, I wasn't going too fast when this happened and I was able to bring it down to a slow and turned into a lot. I could've easily hit another vehicle or totaled my car because the brakes simply stopped working. The problem seems to be at the maker level for Audi eTrons - I've read this has been…
